2 stooges

I think Campfield and Burchett are trying to out dumbass each other the last couple of weeks. They both seem to be getting worse. Stacey

HB 796--Prevents the county

HB 796--Prevents the county election commissions from releasing information they collect about the candidates.

Hmm. This doesn't seem at all appropriate. Two words. Public records.

The rest of the list is just as absurd, but another of particular concern: HB 990--A person who has an order of protection sworn out against him or her would have the right to depose his or her accuser. Good grief. Talk about finding a sure fire way to intimdate (further) the person being harassed.

Yea. Right. When is this term up?

Local administrator unable to qualify candidates now?

Does this language mean that Greg couldn't relate any disparaging info he was privy to? If so, that's virtually the case already, under state election code.

Since he has practically no authority to "qualify" candidates now, it just seems redundant.

In other regards, the EC's website carries all contact info for local candidates. Surely that wouldn't cease?

Camfield

I think that Campfield's action are with regard to this are to prevent embarrasmening questions regarding issues of residencey (where the candidate has lived versus where they say they live for election purposes) and prevent cross-referencing who else has/is living there. Stacey X has had issues with both.

Take Care, Be Good and don't play in the street!
