Local singer/songwriter Jodie Manross is moving to New York. To finance the move and pay for Laith's cancer treatment she's having a yard sale and auctioning off one of her guitars. This message is from her mailing list.

Thanks to everyone who came to the World Grotto Farewell Show last Friday in Knoxville! We all had such a great time performing! It was an amazing turnout, and you all are just so wonderful to me. I am in the process of packing to move and have decided to have a yard sale and wanted to spread the word!

I am moving to New York City next week. Andre Hayter, who played bass in the Jodie Manross Band, is moving with his wife to Sydney, Australia! So we are having a big yard sale this Saturday, Jan. 13. SELLING MY FIRST GUITAR!

*I am also selling my first guitar (I wrote and recorded "With All the Words" on it) and will be selling it to the highest bidder with some proceeds going to Laith. It will be hard to part with my first guitar, (a smaller-sized, right-handed Applause acoustic guitar), but I can't move it with me to New York City.

Part of the proceeds of our yard sale will also go to Laith who has some intensive procedures coming up and to Christina Horn who is running in a marathon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training in Nashville on April 28th in honor of Laith and all those battling blood cancers.
