If the bears can find their way so quickly from Cades Cove back to Cataloochee, I wonder how long it will take for the elk to find Cades Cove? If that happens the Cove might have traffic problems..heh.
Along those lines.....
Does the presence of the elk also explain the emerging pixie population in the cove? My brother and I were fishing Cataloochee Creek in October and we saw at least three.....
...or maybe it was just the Shiner Bocks.....
