This morning on The Voice 1180 AM, Lloyd, Kevin and company mentioned a couple of times they had all the transcripts from the city's investigation of the Community Development department.

They were going to review the investigation over the long weekend and then on the program on Monday start discussing what's in the transcripts. Parts of the transcripts may be read on the air.

And from what I've heard, the summaries on the Sentinel's web site are pretty tame compared to what's in the actual transcripts.

Now that the elections are

Now that the elections are over and the fervor of partisanship has run down, is it becoming clearer that AM 1180 is something special in a town where the rest of the media is controlled by the sixth floor? It would be better if some more liberals would join in the conversation.

Some day it will dawn on people that the sixth floor is the problem. It has nothing to do with the two parties or a persons political leanings.

9s right

this problem didn't just come up in the last few weeks. the city employee union's head has been talking all over the place about the transcripts.

here's what has been found: apparently there's all sorts of grant awarding issues (awarding grants because certain officials are on the board of certain organizations, despite the grant info being turned in too late past the application deadline as well as not being completed correctly) and spending issues going on (like taxpayers footing the bill for college alumni dues, personal cell phone bills, expensive hotel bills and more). and that's just the beginning.

Anyone know how I can get a copy of the transcripts?

they can tell you where to get it. But I heard they're charging $300 for your own copy, but you can look at it for free, I rekken.
