You know what really gets me here? You know what really gets me? Democrats didn’t even win this thing, the Republicans lost it. They ran away from the president. “Hey, the ship’s in trouble! Let’s drown the captain!” We were this close to Jesus coming back! And you Republicans who turned your back on the president are going to wander in the desert for the next two years. Literally. Someone’s going to have to replace those troops in Iraq. And don’t think you’re off the hook, voters! You’re the ones who made this bed. Now you’re the ones who are going to have to move over so a gay couple can sleep in it.

Tomorrow you’re all gonna wake up in a brave new world. A world where the Constitution gets trampled by an army of terrorist clones created in a stem cell research lab run by homosexual doctors who sterilize their instruments over burning American flags. Where tax-and-spend Democrats take all your hard-earned money and use it to buy electric cars for National Public Radio and teach evolution to illegal immigrants. Oh, and everybody’s high! Hey, you know what? Democrats are tired of being called cowards and terrorist appeasers. Democrats aren't creating a breeding ground for terrorists with a failed Iraq policy. Democrats aren't institutionalizing torture. Democrats aren't going on TV calling Republicans in the Bush administration war criminals. Maybe they should.

Anyway, if you wonder why people are tired of the GOP bullshit, maybe you ought to consider your own stupid letter and that half of America is tired of being called cowards and traitors. Way to sell a message. I guess you are taking your cues from the "uniter not a divider." Whatever.

Perspective....Democrats changed 28 out of 224 Republican seats in the House and 6 out of 55 in the Senate. That's a big shift in D.C. (leadership, committees, bill passage, etc.), but doesn't indicate complete abandonment of the Republcan Party. It's a strong message that the Republican Party better pay attention to. But, if Democrats get all full of themselves and commit many of the same sins, voters can just as easily turn the tide back to the right.

I still think moderates on both sides will rule the day on landmark issues. I guess we'll see.

Thinking cave-dwelling adherents to a medieval interpretation of Islam have the slightest chance in hell of taking over America is cowardice in need of a diaper change. Not only are you scared of Islamic wackos, you are scared of gays and Democrats. You could wring the urine out of your underwear and sell it as the essence of cowardice.

 Unfortunately, this administration is concerned with conducting a war on the cheap and handing back areas of the country to terrorists who had weeks before been driven out.

Sounds like appeasement to me. The Bush administration has done more for terrorist recruitment than they ever could have done on their own, and he radically changed the character of our nation so that instead of being admired, we are now feared and distrusted. The terrorists never could have accomplished that. In fact, their most spectacular attack had exactly the opposite effect until the cowboy from Yale and his bedwetter brigade humiliated America and soiled her proud tradition.
