This is the funniest thing you will read all night, guaranteed:

Last week Quince and I went down to the Ford,Jr/Bredesen HQ to man the phone banks in an effort to break the Repub stranglehold/pillage on our once great nation when a call was received that threw the entire staff for a loop.

Someone called the HQ wanting to know how the Congressman stands on cockfighting. Yes, cockfighting. At first I thought it may be SKB what with his cockfighting obsession, but no. A legit call. And no one knew. The Ford,Jr aide had to ask what cockfighting even was. I suggested the caller be told only that Corker was agin' it in an effort to secure the Cocke County vote. You can't make this shit up. "Welcome to East Tennessee" someone told the aide, "Have some more baklava".

Cockfighting. The REAL issue that will determine the Tennessee Senate seat.

Discussion here. Hank's right. You can't make this stuff up.

You're suuuuuure it wasn't R. Neal?

I'm doing a little volunteer work, too. My call of the day was from an elderly gentleman who wanted to tell me a Corker supporter at his early-vote location had referred to HFJ as the 'n word.'

Yep, only one supporter. Shocked me, too.

Foley

Sounds like something Congressman Foley might know about. Oh wait, it involves chickens? Then yes, Congressman Foley may know about that. Oh, real chickens?  Never mind.
