The Institute for Southern Studies has released a new poll showing growing Southern opposition to the war in Iraq. 57% of Southerners now feel the war was a mistake, as compared to a July 2005 poll in which 53% thought it was the right decision.
It would appear that the GOP's Red State base is increasingly fed up with the Bush Administration's failed foreign policies. Results of the nationwide poll, which included oversampling in the South, are available here.
