We want to give (for free) our vhs video library to some organization or family that could make use of the movies. They are mostly Disneyeque, childfriend movies.

The library does not take donations of video tapes (or so I have been told). I've done my stint on Freecycle...not going there. I know the Monroe County family needs shelter and clothing first; however, if they can get a tv and vcr donated, perhaps an instant video library will help return some normalcy so I'll put in a call.

Any other suggestions of places that might use 50 or so videos?

The YMCA/YWCA, perhaps? Or

The YMCA/YWCA, perhaps? Or a women's shelter?

Tapes Claimed

The Library doesn't take donated video tapes.

The ARC is giving them to the Monroe country family. A tv and vcr have already been donated. Final count is 130 movies mostly rated 'G'.

Now if we could just find someone who wants two server racks (free).

KARM

If anyone has family friendly movies, they may want to offer to Knoxville Area Rescue Mission who hosts families as well as individuals. The families stay for an extended period. You might want to check with them.
