After four construction workers died on Britton Bridge projects (including two on the Henley Street Bridge Project), Carlos Guzman, a Britton Bridge employee along with Dwayne Sweat courageously went ON STRIKE over safety concerns. Since then workers have been organizing, along with community supporters through Bridges To Justice to make improvements on their job and at all TDOT projects.

We're happy to report Carlos is now working a Union construction job in Louisville, KY that has excellent wages and benefits with a company that treats him and his fellow employees with respect and dignity!

Bridges to Justice and friends of Carlos Guzman invite you to join with us in thanking Carlos and his family for their bravery and organizing work, wishing them well and celebrating some of the progress these workers and community supporters have been able to make together.

Please bring a dish to share. We look forward to seeing you there!
