Today is Gene Patterson's last day at WATE. He says in this farewell message that he will be joining the communications team at Consolidated Nuclear Security LLC, the managing contractor at Y-12 in Oak Ridge.
Gene is an outstanding TV news reporter and anchor, not to mention a super nice guy. He was never afraid to ask the tough questions.
