A's win!

On a lighter note, my Oakland Athletics last night clinched the AL West Division championship with a 12-3 rout of Seattle. The A's will have won their division with one of the lowest payrolls in Baseball (21st out of 30, and about 1/3rd the amount the Yankees pay), proving that small market teams CAN win.

Moneyball is one of my favorite books of the past 5 years. Still, Billy Bean's managing is without parallel. He gets it done with guys who are just damn glad to be in the show.
