Or... If a scientist contradicts Al Gore in the Siberian Forest, would anyone who relies on Michael Moore to filter their "news" hear it?

I clicked on here this morning and read the space launch blurb by Socialist with a Gold Card and almost posted a comment. Then I remembered the that yesterday was InstaPutz day. I could see a new person not catching it right away!

I'll take that as a compliment, gttim.  I did give pause to echoing a purportedly "serious" global cooling stance on the internets.  I don't get much in the way of hits from searching this guy Abdusamatov, but anybody who wants to explore his theory, such as it is, can do so on their own.  There is a section on global cooling at Wikipedia, as one might guess.

I got the idea from a discussion I had with a friend the other day, who said he thought there was a theory for global cooling, which he thought should have been at least mentioned in An Inconvenient Truth.  I knew I could find some credence for it somewhere on the web for yesterday's InstaBlitz.

Anyway, I believe there is a valid theory for some cooling in the upper western hemisphere, including USA and Europe.  That would be if the Atlantic conveyer shuts down due to enough melting of the north pole including Greenland.  This was addressed in the film and it doesn't invalidate global warming, but would just temporarily mitigate its effect on a small segment of the world.
