SOME SENTIMENTS NEED NO ATTRIBUTION, but...
In comments, a participant at nashvilleistalking.com pretty much sums it all up:
I think it's hilarious that people think Reynolds is right-wing. It shows how far left the left has gone.
How much farther will they go? Keep reading knoxviews and find out.
UPDATE: The downside to posting the thoughts of others is that sometimes people will get you confused with the people that you're linking. Sad.
IF THERE'S A SILVER LINING... On the upside, with the proper, plausibly-deniable ideological slant, you draw a veritable army of slavish apologists to your cause. Witness.

Can't we all just get a long gun?
That confusing huh....
It just amazes me how incredibly poor your characterization skills are if you think Reynolds is right wing.
It's also a larger commentary on the sad state of affairs of the left. The nutroots are truly bringing down the democrats with them.
"Nutroots!"
You crazy kids. Next thing we know, you'll be in here making Jane Fonda jokes! I'm slapping my thighs laughing over here!!
He's also pro-choice,
He's also pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-big government space program, anti-drug war, anti-religious right, etc.
Just sayin', he's hard to peg. Didn't he work for the Gore campaign too?

Though Reynolds is
Though Reynolds is "libertarian" on some social issues, he's certainly conservative.
You didn't hear?
Coulter says we're all hirsute "pie wagons." Gee whiz, I guess the Kerry daughters didn't get the memo. Neither did Chelsea Clinton, who turned out to be not so much the "dog" Limbaugh called her a few years back.
Neither did the Dixie Chicks, I guess.
As far as the pigeonholing goes, gee, I wonder why anyone who questions Bush's war, or the fact that the national debt is spiraling out of control, or the fact there are no jobs being created that aren't due to government spending gets called an anti-American communist, a godless liberal, "stupid" or "weak"? Not that the rightwingers would, you know, exploit any divisions between American social classes to promote themselves, ya gotta understand. No lockstep here, nothing to see, move along, move along...
That is a nice rack. Check

Boy you are confused.
"Let's see, he's pro-guns, anti-taxes, pro-war, anti-Clenist, anti-French, and generally thinks a lot of himself (His CV is a primer of academic braggadacio)."
He's also pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, anti-evangelical, anti-drug war, and one could say overall socially liberal.
Boy, that kinda screws your whole "right-wing" charge out of the water, huh.
Silly, Tman, if you don't
Silly, Tman, if you don't agree on every issue, you're an evil rethuglican in league with chimpy mchitlerburton's war for oil. Geez, pay attention.

TMan, you seem to have a reading comprehension problem. If you look at the instructinos for Blog Like InstaPundit Day, there's no assertion that InstaPundit is a wingnut. Only that he LINKS to a lot of wingnuttery. Maybe you can explain that?
So terribly inconsistent.
Consistency is a fine trait, for house paint. In humans, it's mostly useless.

Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.

Reynolds is a neocon. He
Reynolds is a neocon. He specialized in "space law" and supports NASA. He doesn't subscribe to the social agenda of the religious right. He is certainly down with the foreign policy of the wingnuts, so I'd say he's pretty doggone right wing, all right. Heh.
I will never understand partisan passions.
I will never understand partisan passions. With the many issues to debate why are labels so important? When the shit hits the fan do you think I care what party the person next to me is in? As long as they are filling sandbags to stop the flood they can even be Libertarians for all I care.
Nope, reading comp is fine...
I came here from Nashville is Talking where Brittney posted "Knox Views are parodying (mocking?) their most well known, right-wing blogger in the area, InstaPundit."
Maybe you should ask Brittney is she has a reading comprehension problems?
And you also may want to check out the other commenters here too, as a couple of them seem to Reynolds is not just linking to right wingers, but actually is a right winger as well.
Either way, if you think that Reynolds is a right-winger, then you are the one with the comprhension issues.
Saying he only "posts right wings links" is a cop out. If you're saying it walks and quacks like a duck, then call it a damn duck. Don't hide what we can all see you're truly thinking.
Hey Metulj
Another possible litmus test:
If Pamela "Atlas Juggs" Oshry poses for a picture with you as though she's gleefully revealing her most ample talents, you might be considered a reliable source among wingnuts.

Didn't say he only links to wingnuts. I said mostly. He links here sometimes, too. Although he probably won't any more. Heh. Anyway, I've met the guy a couple of times. We agree on a few things. If you have issues with Britney calling him right-wing, take it up with her. This is more about his style of blogging and what he links to. Get it? Probably not.
I Did.
When the link was posted at NIT, I commented there. Then someone took my comment and posted it here. I defended my comment. It is not quite evident from the posts or your commenters that you are making a commentary on ONLY the posts that Reynolds links to, and not to his own specific views.
And even you did, it's still pretty lame. Whining about what people link to?
This is why I hate the blogosphere some days. It's like kindergarten for goddsakes.
"Whaaa!! Instapundit links to too many republican sources! Whaa!! He's a right winger!! Whaaa!!"
Jeebus people, grow up.
It is not quite evident from
Gee, I wonder why he links to specific content on the web.
"See, he only linked that article by Michelle Malkin. He only regurgitated that Hugh Hewitt quote. That doesn't mean he believes that stuff!"
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Funny, I don't see anyone whining here. Well, with one exception...

Amazing.
I don't think there is much more I could do to make my point but to watch the inevitable "me too!" posts from the comment section here.
The funniest part? I bet Reynolds gets more criticism from the right than from the left.
If a lowly blogger such as I can ruffle all the nutroots feathers so badly, you guys need to seriously take a look in the mirror.
We don't all fit in to neat little boxes. Agreeing with Bush on a single particular issue does not a right-winger make. I know democrats that supported the war in Iraq. I know republicans who didn't.
I know anti-abortion democrats. I know pro-choice republicans.
Maybe if you'd do away with your litmus tests, the left might win some more elections.
The Democrats better step
The Democrats better step up:

Seriously, what hot chicks are the left bringing? Don't even say Hillary.
I have determined the Republican strategy, and it is Nascar, rock and roll, wrestling, and chicks, hot Republican chicks.
No, you don't realize how ridiculous you sound.
"But it enables the Right wing to link you, as a reasonable person, to their, frankly, dangerous worldview."
So now Reynolds is responsible for the right linking him to "their dangerous worldview"?
What kind of logic exists on your planet? Does it taste like chocolate?
Because your line of reasoning is cuckoo for cocoa puffs.
Deep in the caverns of the
Deep in the caverns of the Democratic underground...
General "Buck" Turgidson: Mr. Dean, we must not allow a hot chick gap! Angelina Jolie is smoking hot, is she a Democrat?
