Could we see the numbers on these deals? I would really like to see how the state saves money. Or is this a case of Haslam cutting social programs and state service to funnel money to his friends and himself?

I'm sorry, but we cannot provide any specific information on contracts or negotiations or how these contracts are supposed to save the state gobs of moolah...and accidentally direct income from inflated prices to friends of the governor.
Nope, no comment on that appearance of corruption.
How about that Pilot / Flying J investigation!

The panel also put off inquiries into two other state contracts that Ketron said have at least the appearance of a "common thread" in that they were awarded to companies that have some connection to government insiders.

Why are panels and committees formed? It always seems things they most need to discuss are the things they run away from fastest.
