Bobby Jindal told Goopers in North Carolina that "We do not need to change what we believe as conservatives — our principles are timeless," but they need to somehow repackage their horse manure to make it smell rose-like. When I started reading the article I expected to see something about kinder and gentler but no, it's all about putting lipstick on their porker.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Jindal cuts funding for hospice care in Louisiana.
He has all the qualifications to run in '16.

Jindal
Do you suppose he meant to say "our principles are flat out of time?"
If the poll at that link is any indication (asking "do you agree with the judge's ruling that diverting public funds to private schools is unconstitutional?" to which 84% of respondents agreed), it looks like the vast majority of his constituents would love for Jindal to run in '16.
It would get him out of Louisiana.
America First!
America First! That should be the battle cry. Bring jobs back to our middle class. Impose tariffs if required. The old system worked and made our country the envy of the world. We do not need to reinvent the wheel. There is nothing wrong with our nation that full employment will not cure. Unemployment and underemployment robs our government of revenue needed to operate and draining Social Security for a lack of revenue. Let's go back to the good ole days. Encouraging corporations to out source jobs does nothing but increase the profits of corporations at the expense of the American economy.
Bobby has a long way to go to
Bobby has a long way to go to get his party to stop being the "stupid party". Check out these videos on the debate on teaching creationism in Louisiana schools where a state senator asks if E. coli is going to evolve into a human while discussing an experiment that most high schoolers know about.
The scary thing is that this is happening all of the time in southern and some western states. The GOP has been working on a state by state strategy for a decade and it's paying off.
Donald Trump should check
Donald Trump should check that guy's birth certificate.
(Yeah, I know he's a natural born citizen. But that never stopped Donald Trump!)
If I may misquote the Who...
"Meet the new GOP. Same as the old GOP."
