Amazon has just issued a firmware update (5.3.3) for the Kindle Paperwhite. Leaving your device's wireless enabled will eventually install it automatically. If you can't wait, go here

Amazon has also rolled out a new 'rental' service. A few books are available for a month's rental fee of about half the retail price. Keep it more than a month and you are charged more until after six months when you owe them full price. I don't think I will be taking advantage of that option.
