Felt it around 12:10 in East Knoxville. Apparently this earthquake was felt from Georgia all the way up to Ohio. First time I've ever experienced one in TN.

According to USGS website... it was a 4.2 out of Kentucky and went as high as W. Virginia. Whole house shook and woke up one of our twins.

Sure did feel it. I live outside of Carthage,TN about 65 miles east if Nashville. My house was rockin' and rollin'. It reminded me of when I lived in CA.

Felt it in Maryville, TN. Woke me up from afternoon nap. Has to be AT LEAST 4.5. My girlfriend is from CA and has been through quite a few. Said you really can't feel a 4.0 and this shook the entire house. Could hear things shaking and moving around the house and a loud rumble.

I felt it here in Halls. Very strong. Scared me to death. I was on the computer and it sounded like my house was going to collapse. My son is a seismologist. He said that it centered near Whitesburg, KY and was a 4.3. I read where some people felt it in VA and in Raleigh, NC. Very scary indeed and I hope we don't have another one!

Decent bump for a quake here in Tennessee. I am in Karns, TN my son and I felt it and heard it. Felt like maybe someone slammed our big heavy front door as hard as they could.

I felt it here in Elizabethton (or Stoney Creek if you want to get more precise) at around 12:09! I felt the floor shake, heard the windows shaking, and also heard a deep rumbling noise as it happened. This went on for around a minute.

I was in Concord Park at a 4 year old's birthday party. None of us noticed, but there was a lot of moving and shaking going on around us already.

I was in 4th & Gill at the time and didn't notice a thing. Maybe I thought it was a truck going by on the interstate, perhaps I figured I was having a senior moment/wobbly legs, maybe those old houses are built real solid.

Waaah, I feel left out. I did have one wake me up from my sleep in South Knoxville one time. That is the sum total of my my earthquake experience.
