Graham's people quickly scrubbed the BGEA website of all evidence that the good reverend considers once considered Mormonism a cult.
"Today, the Sacramento Bee and other media outlets, including Graham’s own website, posted Graham’s statement endorsing Mitt Romney for president, and two commenters posted a link to the 2010 Graham statement classifying the Mormon religion as a cult. Hours later, that page no longer exists."
Just as he once recanted his agreement with other televangelists that AIDS was a 'gift from God', he is again modifying his religion to fit his politics.
Google no longer displays links to cached pages but there is a work around here. Their cached page was dated 13 October, after the deletion.

Makes me just want to get dressed and go to church this morning! (or not)
Thanks for the reminder Billy, you f#%&@g hypocrite.
The Wayback Machine is your friend
Here's how the page looked on November 21, 2010, the last time it was crawled by the Wayback Machine:
(link...)
That doesn't mean it hadn't changed since then, but only that it was the last time Wayback captured a snapshot of it.
Thanks.
I needed that for my Facebook page.
Very Good! Thanks.

Thanks, TV! I fiddled around at The Wayback Machine's site for close to an hour yesterday, looking for this.
The article Kenny links said this reference to cults appeared at Graham's site "as recently as June 5, 2010," so I made a June 4 webcrawl my starting point and began looking through dates prior to that, not after that.
And yes, The Wayback Machine is absolutely our friend. We can catch many a Talking Head's lie using that tool!

I really must join facebook, if only to see what you're up to!

So now Graham's bunch takes
So now Graham's bunch takes out a full page ad in several newspapers urging those gullible to believe in his godlyness to vote as
ourhis religion dictates. The meaning of life
Does this mean Dr. Graham is instructing me to marry multiple wives and beat my children? I've got my hands full just being married to one woman, I'm 53 years old and I just don't have it in me to multitask at that level. I'm just one man.
Furthermore, I've had pretty good results with reason and setting levels of expectation that coincide with each child's talents, and this whole "torture your child to get them to succumb to your will" thing just seems counterproductive to me.
One other thing while we're on the subject
How come all these guys that start these cults always make it so the guys have multiple wives and the women never have multiple husbands? The guy never gets a day off. It seems to me that a true religious experience would have the woman organizing a house full of men and making sure that they all had time for fishing and football, someone was always sober to talk to her and there were multiple incomes to support any jewelry habit she might have.
We could have weekly meetings on our coaching philosophies for the kids' ball teams.
