Tim Burchett did everything he could short of driving voters to the polls (and maybe he did that, too) to get Stacey Campfield elected to Burchett's former state senate seat. This is the thanks he gets?

(Ed. note: It appears Campfield has taken down the blog post in question, but its essence is captured at the Nashville Scene link above. The link to Campfield's post, which is no longer there, is titled "ah they change so fast." Perhaps his cryptic zinger was directed at the other Burchett. Who knows?)

and it appears Stacey has put back up the video only now with no story just a "Hmmm" as the title. Still not sure what he's trying to accomplish there. My guess is he was called to the woodshed by Burchett.

Whatever he's trying to

Whatever he's trying to accomplish, anything that reminds the public about the Burchett/Allison/campaign finance mess isn't good for Burchett.

These were violations from 2006, the first year they started comparing candidates disclosures to the records of contributing PAC's. So Burchett was busted the very first year they investigated.

On a side note, I believe the Burchetts were married in '08. Hard(impossible?) to blame above 2006 penalties on Allison.

This is all starting to shape up very, very poorly for Tim.
