Everybody else is campaigning, so I will too. Go vote for KnoxViews (listed as R. Neal, but we'll let that slide for this purpose) in A.C. Kleinheider's poll. Or vote for someone else, but at least vote.
(And while you're over there, maybe you should lobby Kleinheider to include KnoxViews in his Tennessee blog roundup. After all, he included KnoxViews in his political bloggers poll after saying he doesn't include KnoxViews in his blogroll because it isn't a political blog. Make up your mind, A.C.!)

Brittney Gilbert is "political?"

She links to Bill Hobbs a lot. Maybe that counts?
Well, there is that post
Well, there is that post about the Crunchy Defense Forces battling the insurgent warfare of the Creamy Jihad.

Cut And Paste Queen
Kleinheider's explanation of my inclusion:
"It may be deceptive, but it's there. Because she posts so much content it only seems like she's not, but a good amount of her posts are explicitly political and many more tangentially so.
Plus, many, many folks come to NIT to comment on those political posts.
NiT advances the political discussion in Nashvile. Brittney Gilbert is thus a political blogger."
And you say?
Can you put a defense of that in your own words? Are you a "political blogger?"

There's a word for what is happening in here...
Can you put a defense of that in your own words? Are you a "political blogger?"
I could, but I won't.
Just curious
Defensive, defensive.
If you're thinking that word is "ambush," think again. I'm just curious is all.
I mean, y'all are both paid by WKRN to create content for them. I simply thought that as co-workers, perhaps AC was privy to some information that we weren't.
Personally, I always thought of NIT as more of an aggregated gossip column. That's not a slam, really. It is what it is. I just don't get "political" is all.
In such case, I'd think that it hardly merits commenting here at all, but whatever.

Legalism
I stated the reasons why I had unilaterally decided not to include KnoxViews on another thread at this site.
However, on the VV about page there are directions to how to get your blog aggregated if you believe it should be included.
As of this date, I have not received a request via the proper channels
Thank you and have a blessed day :)
have a blessed day
have a blessed day
Does anybody else wonder WTF that's ever supposed to mean? Other than the code word aspect, that is.
'Other than the code word

Please, enlighten me. I guess it's better than telling you to 'have a damned day'

Well,
Please, enlighten me.
Well, just the "Hey, I'm a sleeve-wearing Christian, doncha know, and howbout you?" kinda thing. Gives me the creeps and puts me on alert to watch out for other B.S. If I try and lighten up and think about the meaning, it just makes less and less sense. Then again, maybe in some cases it's not meant to have any real meaning at all--just a response, like "godblessyou" after a sneeze.
I guess it's better than telling you to 'have a damned day'
That's one way to look on the positive side of it!
Unless it is a nun or rabbi
Unless it is a nun or rabbi or some such, I don't need someone gratuitously wishing me a "blessed day". They're just being Christianist arrogant.
I love you people
Well, most of you, anyway.
OK, off to vote for Mr. Neal...
Well, just the "Hey, I'm a
Well, code sort of implies secret. I don't think that phrase is an attempt to be secretive.

I don't think that phrase is
I don't think that phrase is an attempt to be secretive.
But it may be an attempt to identify one's self and evoke a response, with or agin. Or it might be a cheap way to feel self-rightous.
'But it may be an attempt to
'But it may be an attempt to identify one's self and evoke a response'
Well, if it was, it worked.
