If your reference is to its somewhat-flat nose, I've always wondered how those very flat-nosed "Bluebird" school busses fare in crashes?

Plenty of those on the road, of course...

Honda has large cars that they don't bring into the US. I was surprised that they discontinued the Element which has developed a cult following.

Oh, I didn't realize they'd discontinued the Element.

My college-aged daughter wants one.

(I think she expects that her dad and I are going to buy her next car, too, but she's sadly mistaken.)

Nissan is considering

Nissan is considering reviving the Datsun brand, but not in the US. They're looking to make and sell the $6,173 cars in India, Indonesia and Russia.

Nissan sure has made a come-back. They are now the #2 Japanese automaker after having big problems in the 90s.

I was impressed driving the

I was impressed driving the Leaf and the Versa, although the latter had seats uncomfortable on a long drive.

Tamara, you might still be able to find a new 2011 Element, although they're quickly being snapped up.

Not smart IMO, no matter how strong

I've seen different videos of the Smart car. As much as I hate to see how heavy cars have become, that's the way it is and this is what can happen when a strong but light Smart meets an average weight car, starting at about 0:21:
