Knox Co. Mayor Tim Burchett is organizing a "cash mob" to descend on a South Knoxville business on Friday, Feb. 10 from 5 to 7 PM. The business to be mobbed will be announced on Thursday.

The mayor is asking that people make an extra effort to stop by the business during that time with a commitment to just spend $5 or $10.

The mayor plans to organize the first couple of cash mobs in South Knoxville then branch them out to other parts of the city and county.

Our vote is for Disc Exchange, but any South Knoxville business could probably use a little help with the Henley Bridge situation. And anything to get folks across the river could help other businesses regardless of who gets mobbed.
