The Tennessee Dept. of Labor and Workforce Development received notice of the following layoffs:

• Another in the series of Food Lion closings, this one in Montgomery Co., 38 employees starting today through Feb. 15.

• Eaton Corp. in Shelby Co. is laying off 47 employees between Feb. 15 through March 30. It is listed as a closing. The company has a sales office in Cordova and a distribution center in Memphis. Unable to find any reports about which location is affected.

UPDATE: Commercial Appeal confirms it is the distribution center. It is closing and the operations are being moved to Spartanburg, SC.
