Haven't had time to inspect Madeline's contributor list in detail, but one thing that jumps out at me is that both Larry Martin, current Deputy Mayor, and Bill Lyons, Director of Policy and Communications, made contributions to her.
Interesting.

This is pretty interesting
This is pretty interesting and I think a great plus for Madeline. They both are very well regarded and they totally had the confidence of Haslam. They are getting it done for Brown too and very well respected at the City County Building. It should make a big statement to anyone trying to paint Madeline as too far out there or anti business or something.
Martin and Lyons Contribute to Rogero
It is impressive that Larry Martin and Bill Lyons have faith in Madeline. They will likely remain, at the very least for a while, to insure continuity and the retention of institutional knowledge. It appears, from what I have seen and heard, that Mr Padgett has been endorsed by Mike Ragsdale and Mike Arms.Mr Padgett's first financial showed the max contribution by the infamous Mikes. Now their contributions appear "more subtly mixed in".Imagine trading Martin and Lyons for Ragsdale and Arms.Ragsdale and Arms already have county lighting contracts through Funderburk Electrical Service. Imagine replacing our hard working city mice with county rats.Is Mark the Pied Piper of all the worst rats in the county dump?
