Found it somewhat surprising the sentinel endorsed Hutchison for sheriff. Hutchison openly bashes every news outlet in Knoxville including the sentinel and gets an endorsement. This due to his experience over Tyree, but then they endorse Emge without any experience in regards to the Register of Deeds position. Tyree has said he would mend fences with local media outlets by opening up toward them regarding public information and cooperate with outside agencies to help solve crimes more efficiently. No ego, no vindictiveness, no BS.  But hey, what would you expect from KnoxNews.

Geez, you've got a short

Geez, you've got a short memory there.  Last time round the KNS wrote a l-o-n-g editorial laying out all that was wrong with Shurf Tim.  The logical last sentence was "So Jim Andrews has our endorsement."  Nope.  It was "Vote for Hutichson anyway."  I don't buy all #9's conspiracy theories, but the Shurf sure does have himself an iron grip on the job.

Guys Even the Sentinel Staffers live Out in the County

And they like for crime to go somewhere else besides out in the county.

As long as break ins are down, no speed traps are set up by the county, folks really don't care how they do it as long as they get it done.
