sounds familiar-

Will the county commissioners be required to seek approval to ask for info from department heads? This is just the same crap that happened down in Blount County under Cunningham.

Just trying to control the message...

.. when anyone is in a job as a stepping stone to another job (say, Senator), the focus is on preparing for the next job, rather than doing the current job well and the way you campaigned on.

If there is a branch-wide attempt to 'control the message', no matter what the issue, I'm afraid it will blow up in their face and they'll have to backtrack, and it will be like the severance packages all over again.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it does seem a little odd, and I hope they come around. Really, it will take ZERO effort to have an administration that is better than the last one, and citizens of Knox County don't expect perfection, but I'm sure everyone wants an administration more open and transparent than the last one. Slipups aren't as embarrassing as something like this...

..unless... there's a grand conspiracy in this road project!!! Maybe they're burying missing invoices form the Solway facility!?!?!?!?

Good work by LVG, keep it up. (and great headline, Randy..LOL!)

Apparently not with flashing lights and banners, although Mr. Grider took it good-naturedly.
