Part of this week's TNDP chair debate involved written responses to questions that were submitted but not asked during the live debate.

Brad Parish forwards the written responses to these eleven questions. Here they are.

Hey, this info is far more valuable than the debate!

Now that was a complete definition of who each of these folks are,it will help our Boards make a much more informed decisions when they vote. Congratulations, Brad...you done good!

Chip had such a daunting task when he took the job in 2009, it is remarkable what all he has accomplished to bring all the scattered factions back to our center. The TNDP has done a great job using all the OFA tech tools to build a super data base of willing and able new volunteers. And his definition of what he believes a Democrat is rings true.

However, this State Party has a way to go before it comes together to define and support our National Democratic Platform. I personally made many calls for many state and local candidates, on supporting our Healthcare plan. Many long-time Democrats relayed to me that they were so disappointed in our Congress Dems, and in the local candidates we chose to support...as a Party. Some were union members, some were minorities, some were so sad at how this State has not even given our President a fair chance...to help THEM. Some were so angry with Davis, Tanner and Gordon for voting against any bills for change, especially their votes against better health care for all of us.

Here in this area (and I suspect throughout this State) we have various factions of Dems who all feel THEY are the only ones who represent our Party...BUT the opposite is true, THAT one fact must change...We have Blue Dogs, progressives who insist on holding out for ALL vs nothing, and a few who are still bitter about 2008. And we have some very wealthy Dems who chose to support GOP candidates...why? We have people of color being told to always vote for the GOP because jobs for their community depend on it. Also we have bitter losers who have attacked our Chair and Board for months who are NOT bringing anyone together, only further dividing us.
Until and unless we all come together, reaffirm our loyalty to the beliefs, agenda, goals, platform of our Party, it won't matter which of these 3 State Director candidates win.

Dear Marytheprez, I know how

Dear Marytheprez,
I know how committed you are to Chip, it's obvious in your writings. But Chip is not committed to unity or the youth vote and he proved it with his letter to the Tennessee College Dems Chair on Wednesday.

See his letter at (link...)

It's time for Chip to go! I hope Harold and Sylvia Woods realize it before it's too late!

About that debate: why was it

About that debate: why was it not on the TNDP website or on any of the official local party communications such as Knox Dems on Facebook or on the local party website? Was someone trying to cover up that Chip had competition?
