How many blogs can a woodchuck chuck?

I had a chance to spread the word about KnoxViews and the Rocky Top Brigade during a New England trip over the past couple of weeks, and to see what variations on the "grassroots/community/citizen journalism" idea are going on up where they define a "Yankee" as someone from Vermont who eats apple pie for breakfast.

Some examples: NewsMaine, H2Otown.info, Westport Now, iBrattleboro, and the New Haven Independent... for coverage of a panel discussion of some of them, see this account by Jemima Kiss, a British visitor who blogged the Media Giraffe conference at UMass, and was blogged about in return

That gang-of-bloggers experience reminded me how thin I've spread my own blogging, not that "focus" was ever one of my strong points. So I'm putting this item here to spread myself a little thinner... and to point anyone looking for more frequent stuff from me to my main "Other Journalism" blog and my old backup blogger blog. Just ignore this one and that one...
