Déjà vu?

Is it just me, or are Democrats becoming the target of selective prosecution? The previous Mayor of Knox County notwithstanding, most of the prosecution of elected officials has been well over 80%. That's hardly an official number, but it is what I remember over the last few years.

While I have no problem with exposing corruption and punishing the perpetrators, it just seems funny to me that the defendants in almost all of these cases fall outside the membership of the GOP.

Just last May the Daily Beast awarded us the title of the Most Corrupt State in the U.S. We're living in the most corrupt state in America and over 80-90% of the perps are Dems? It just doesn't sit right.

If anyone out there can show me where I'm wrong, I'm listening. It seems like it is a problem nationwide. I'm thinking Charley Rangel, Maxine Waters, William J. Jefferson, most of the state Dem legislators and others I cannot recall off the top of my head.

Is anybody out there?

...most of the Memphis legislators. Tennessee Waltz, my eye. Yes, they waltzed all over them. I'm often amazed by the brazenness here in my home state.

Again, please show me where I am wrong.
