Mike Cohen, Katie's friend and co-worker at Ackermann PR, sends the following:

We all know and love Katie and can hardly imagine the pain she must be going through.

As if the pain weren’t enough, there is the reality of finances involved.

So many people have asked what they can do to help. This is a very simple, direct way. It will make at least one piece of this horror a little easier to manage for the family and give you a sense of having done something to help.

On the advice of our company bank, this is the best way for us to handle it:

Simply write a check to Katie Allison Granju.

Mail it to:

Crystal Cardwell
c/o Ackermann PR
1111 Northshore, Suite N-400
Knoxville, TN 37919

We’ll handle it from there.

Please pass this along to everyone you can. Katie has inspired us all with how she has dealt with this tragedy. Let’s see what we can do to help make things just a tiny bit easier for her.

And keep praying for them all as well. I know Katie and her family felt a lot of love and support the past few weeks and believe it helped her.

Mike

Thanks

R.,

Thanks for sharing this with everyone. I hope that others will also help us reach out to Katie's many friends online and locally by sharing this on their social media accounts, too.

Bless all of you for your support of Katie and her family during this horrendous time.
