Mixing It Up at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville - NYTimes.com:
The producers displayed no pretension or hand-wringing — no stated rubric of avant-gardism and no rhetoric about how it’s our responsibility to support experimental composers as a cause. Instead the experience was more like a string of mind-blowing midnight movies.

Thanks for posting this. We're very proud of the response to our Big Ears Festival this year. Great reviews in LA Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Brooklyn Vegan, and more. Audiences and artists from far and wide who really loved our city and its marvelous performance venues. WNYC in NYC came down and did a lot of interviews for NPR coverage as well.
