And seems quite proud of himself. Does this mean Burchett endorses Campfield? Or did Campfield just put him on the spot?

Public embarrassments
Apparently, Burchett will sign anything, pass any legislation or do most anything you ask of him. He is a real crowd pleasin’, hand shakin’, tell ya what ya want to hear, GOB politician. Just what Knox County needs, a goofball mayor with a twitchy left eye, who faints when he is under pressure.
What was Burchett supposed to
What was Burchett supposed to do exactly - kick Campfield out? He was being a good Republican.
And I have no idea - maybe Burchett will endorse Campfield. But signing someone's petition to run doesn't even mean you'll vote for them. It just means you're ok with them running.
What was Burchett supposed to
What was Burchett supposed to do exactly - kick Campfield out?
Thus the question as to whether Campfield was putting him on the spot. Pretty clever I guess. I'll bet you a dollar he wasn't invited to come on over with his petition.
(I believe there's another R in the primary? Maybe he will show up at the next Burchett event.)
Burchett
Burchett makes me sick the way he panders and inserts himself into court cases etc...and then there is Hutchison. It sux!
Bit off subject..but maybe not.
This post does have a link to Mr.Campfield's blog & Mr.Campfield does talk about the 2010 election for the 7th State Senatoral District.
Randy Walker is a candidate in the 2010 election for the 7th State State Senatoral District.
Anybody in politics will tell you..you can't put the cart before the horse. And this election is no different.
Simply..Randy Walker won't be a candidate in the general election if Randy doesn't win the Democratic primary.
Randy Walker needs YOUR vote in the state Democratic primary.
(link...).
There are also four
There are also four candidates in the Republican primary (Stacey Campfield, Nicholas Ciparro, Steve Hill, and Ronald Leadbetter) so Campfield isn't necessarily a lock, either. And I wonder if Leadbetter is a signal that the establishment Republicans want a more credible candidate.
Is Leadbetter the Creditable GOP establishment's candidate?
Don't know if Mr.Leadbetter is the "creditable..Republican establishment candidate" ..maybe Mr.Leadbetter is the not Mr.Campfield candidate??
In these tough economic times..I'm not HIM..AIN'T much of a reason to elect a guy to the state senate...could be a reason, for the Republicans,to nominate Mr.Leadbetter but NOT a reason for the the people to elect Mr.Leadbetter.
The folks running, for the Republican nomination, are all about the politics. And I'll give 'em all this..they know how to run.
But do they know what real people..with real lives..want over in Nashville? Do these Republicans have what it takes to represent us in the state senate?
Randy Walker does.
Because Randy's not spent his whole life plotting for the next election.Playing the angles for the move up the political ladder.
Randy Walker's done what 99.9% of the voters in the district do..raised a family..went to work everyday.
WE NEED A LITTLE LESS POLITICS & A BUNCH MORE COMMON SENSE!!!!
