A student at South-Doyle organized a public tribute to Army helicopter pilot Capt. Marcus Ray Alford, who was killed in a helicopter crash in Iraq last month.
The Mrs. captured this scene on Kingston Pike. She said people were lined up from Cumberland out to Cherokee Bvld., and that it is a very moving tribute.
