Steve Steffens of Left Wing Cracker is at the hospital with his life partner Lauren, who suffered a massive heart attack day before yesterday. Lauren, who is only 43, is in ICU in serious condition. Trace of NewsComa is there and sending out updates. Please keep Steve and Lauren in your thoughts and prayers.

I don't "know" him, but I know him, and like him very much and am extremely sorry to hear this terrible news.
But thanks for reporting it, Bubba. Sad way to start the new year.
