Congrats to our next door neighbor Cheryl Ball, and our down the street neighbors Chyna Brackeen and Alison Sprouse, for making Knoxville's 40 Under 40 List.

I know exactly 4 of these

I know exactly 4 of these people (although I've heard of a few more), and only have a good opinion of 3 of them.

I guess Knoxvillians over 40 are just completely out of it.

So after that positive little bit you beg for money for a cause.

Your fund raising style needs works.

I am sure all 40 people honored now wonder if they are the one you hold in such ill regard. None of them may sleep tonight. It is as if you diminished them all.

Baloney.  The 36 people who don't know me won't give a damn, and the 4 who do probably care even less.

I'm surprised you think my opinion is important enough for anybody to lose sleep over.

The point of my OP, BTW, was to point out how out of touch I seem to be with the younger set.

Jason Woodle

I can't say enough good things about Jason Woodle.

Jason is one of the bright lights of the 21st century!

Actually,  Rachel's "cause"  affects me much more than it does her  (it's my view that's being protected).  So smooches to all the top 40,  especially those who are charitably inclined.

But really,  I didn't interpret Rs comment as a dig at the 36 "youngsters" she doesn't know.

BTW,  the link is broken,  so I can't even tell if I know any of this group.

It would definitely be nice

It would definitely be nice if Knoxville/Knox County continues to have more public space along the river. It's sad when you look along the North side to see the City/County building, the UT football stadium, Thompson Boling arena, and the sewer plant.
