This Saturday, December 19th, FAT'S BBQ (2701 Whittle Springs Road) will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Love Kitchen from 11 am - 3 pm. The proceeds from all of the sales made will go directly to benefit the mission of the the Love Kitchen.
 
The Love Kitchen, founded by twin sisters Helen Ashe and Ellen Turner, provides nearly 2,000 meals to the hungry, home bound and homeless every week. The organization began with a dream Helen had in 1985 and became a reality in 1986 feeding 22 people in the basement of a local church. The organization has no paid staff, so each and every contribution is used to serve those in need in the community.
