TIME: The story of the year was a weak economy that could have been much, much weaker. Thank the man who runs the Federal Reserve, our mild-mannered economic overlord.

I'm afraid I can't agree

I'm afraid I can't agree with TIME's choice this year. Right now I can't think of anyone I would name person of the year. I'll keep trying. Hasn't TIME in the past elected to not name a person of the year?

My Macro-Econ Professor

Times Person of the Year??!!  And to think he was my macro professor 10 years ago!   I had some awesome economics professors at Princeton (Christine Paxson, Cecilia Rouse, Uwe Reinhardt and Alan Krueger to name a few) but Bernanke wasn't one of them.
