We've installed a new "what you see is sort of similar to what you get" rich text editor. Hover over the buttons for an explanation of what they do.

You may disable the editor by going to 'my account', clicking the 'edit' tab, expanding the 'rich text editor' section, and setting the first option to 'disabled'. You will still have the option to switch between the rich text and 'plain' editors on individual text areas (unless you disable that option in your account settings).

You can play around with the other settings but it isn't necessary. (Note: the default/recommended toolbar set for this site is the "KnoxViews" toolbar.)

The new editor allows you to upload and insert image links directly into your posts or your comments. Click the 'insert image' button and then the 'upload' tab.

When inserting URL links, please use "target=_blank" to open external sites in a new window.

Let me know if you encounter any issues.

UPDATE: I just noticed that the Firefox spell check would not display the context menu with suggested corrections when you right click. This has been fixed, sort of. It will now display the context menu with suggestions when you hold down Ctrl then right click on the red-underlined misspelled word. (May work with Mac Cmd key, too.) NOTE: You may have to clear your browser cache for the change to take effect.

Also note that older posts and comments made with the 'plain' editor are stored and filtered differently by Drupal. If you want to edit previous content, you probably want to disable the new rich text editor, edit your content with the old editor, then turn the new editor back on.
