Because the state's CoverKids insurance program was closed to new enrollment as of Dec. 1st, AccessTN will now accept enrollment of children who have been denied insurance coverage because of pre-existing conditions.

Premiums for children will be based on the lowest premium level charged to AccessTN enrollees and will range from $284 to $410 per month. Premium assistance is an option for some families earning less than $75,000. This aid can cover up to 60 percent of the monthly premium, depending on family income, and is subject to available funding.

How many insurance plans

How many insurance plans does TN offer? I suppose these will all have to go away once we get a Republican governor. It is my understanding the R's don't think government should be involved in the health insurance business.
