BILL O’REILLY: The public option now is done. We discussed this, it’s not going to happen. But you say that this little marketplace that they’re going to set up, whereby the federal government would subsidize insurance for some Americans, that is, in your opinion, a public option?
NINA OWCHARENKO: Well, it has massive new federal regulation. So you don’t necessarily need a public option if the federal government is going to control and regulate the type of health insurance that Americans can buy.
Bill O’REILLY: But you know, I want that, Ms. Owcharenko. I want that. I want, not for personally for me, but for working Americans, to have a option, that if they don’t like their health insurance, if it’s too expensive, they can’t afford it, if the government can cobble together a cheaper insurance policy that gives the same benefits, I see that as a plus for the folks.
Update: Not to be outdone for ratings in bizarro world Glenn Beck tells Katie Couric:
How about this? I think John McCain would have been worse for the country than Barack Obama. How's that?
More flying pigs: "Leaders have pledged to reconstitute the international economic order to render global growth more inclusive, sustainable, and robust." Ha!

only thing you need to know
Because you don't like O'Reilly and his position on issues, you think it's ok to define his whole career based on a 90-second temper tantrum 10 years ago? That would be no different than defining President Clinton's entire career based on his "cigar tryst" with Monica Lewinski. Unfair.
Or how about Barney Frank and the time.......er...never mind.
Hey Cannokorn, the next time
Hey Cannokorn, the next time you talk with your buddy O'Reilly ask him again about his two Peabody Awards, the two he won for his work on Inside Edition.
Ask him too about his version of the events at Malmedy.

Whatever happened to this lawsuit? Was it thrown out? Was it settled?
It's funny how libs attack the person when they don't like the message. But ole Teddy boy has one tryst after another - in one of those a young woman dies and he runs away. What happens? Oh, he's a lib....his funeral is on TV.
BTW, O'Reilly is still ahead of Beck in the ratings, but only barely. And Beck is on at 5! Funny how Faux News (is that how you say it?) dominates.
He settled ($2M-$10M
He settled ($2M-$10M allegedly - CBS Story).
I think you're a rope-a-dope troll and won't engage in an ongoing dialog, but if you want to poke an adulterous hypocritical Dem I'd suggest that scumbag Edwards rather than the recently deceased Senator Kennedy.
And Malmedy?
And Malmedy?

Is it really dialogue you want or should I take my turn and come up with some really ugly things to call you now, JMCNair?
I agree that Edwards and Teddy have both committed adultry and have been hypocritical at times in their careers. Both represent the opposite end of the political spectrum from me. Not sure about the scumbag label though. And just because Teddy's dead, should that give him immunity from criticism? I don't think anyone died in any of John Edwards' womanizing trysts. Maybe I'm wrong though. You seem mighty pissed. (Talk about The No Spin Zone........)
BTW, I did take the time to visit Teddy's grave last week at Arlington Cemetery. Like Bobby's grave, a simple white cross on the hillside directly under Arlington House. Impressive and appropriate given his years of service, even though I disagreed with him 99% of the time. I thought he was down right mean (and dangerous) during his character assassination of Robert Bork but he also did a great job fighting for what he believed in even though he was wrong.
