By a strange circumstance, I just happened to run into Bill Lockett a few minutes ago. (Fighting the urge to do otherwise) I was pleasant as we were introduced and I "naively" asked about the time of his announcement today.
He replied that the announcement would not be a press conference but would, instead, be an email sent to various people. (News outlets, I presume. Maybe he should also consider including the collection of investigators on his tail.)
He said that there was nothing earth shattering or of a bombshell nature (his words) in the email.
Sounds like more evidence of him digging in.
