They were so sweet they'd make your teeth hurt.

The wife & I got to talk to the neighbors about them -- apparently they do root around in flower beds and in the trash, but they're not bothered too much by it. One said that there's a mated pair that has been hanging around for at least four or five years.

I'm glad they've not called animal control. (Matter of fact, I doubt that they have much problem with squirrels or rabbits, aside from a few pelts or carcasses. Heh.)

Pretty cool to have a little Mutual of Omaha right in your own back yard.
