That esteemed voice of the American people, the United States Senate, has spoken:

"Senate Votes Twice for English Language"

Consequently, I request that all posts here at KnoxViews be made in English only.  We need to help unify the country.

This too, if we don't get control of our borders, American will soon be flooded by 500 million of the invaders.  If that happens, you won't be able to recognize this website, or anything else.  Act accordingly.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid called a proposal to make English the official language "racist" on the Senate floor yesterday.

"This amendment is racist. I think it's directed basically to people who speak Spanish," the Democrat said during the already tense debate over immigration reform.

"We are trying to make an assimilation statement," said Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., one of two dozen senators who voted Thursday for both English proposals.

So, making it harder for immigrants to obtain the information they need to assimilate is going to help assimilation. How.... French of you.

 I say leadership starts at the top. As soon as Pres. Bush shows command of the English language, everybody else should follow. Leave no president behind!

I can see the GOP in the coming months: "Those damn liberal Democrats want to make you learn spanish, and want America to speak only spanish. Soon we will have nothing but same sex marriages of spanish speaking abortionists who want to convert you to Islam!"
