Ward Cammack has named Mark Brown as his campaign political/communication director. Mark will officially join Cammack's campaign for governor on April 13th.

A former college English instructor, Mark served as political/communications director for the Tennessee Senate Democratic Caucus and was communications director for the Tennessee Democratic Party prior to that. He is a past Democratic Party Executive Committee member from the 18th Senate District and also worked for Governor Bredesen as legislative liaison.

Commenting on his new position with the campaign, Mark said "Ward Cammack is a candidate whose ideas rise above partisan politics. He will continue to apply common sense business principles to state government as Governor Bredsen has, and he has the vision to meet the challenges our state faces. I'm excited by the opportunity to help Tennessee get to know Ward."
