First, there were the 15 tries for McCarthy to win the Speaker of the House seat.
Then, the crazy 8 House Republicans voted to oust McCarthy:
Andy Biggs of Arizona, Ken Buck of Colorado, Tim Burchett of Tennessee, Eli Crane of Arizona, Matt Gaetz of Florida, Bob Good of Virginia, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Matt Rosendale of Montana
Next, Steve Scalise decided he wanted to be Speaker of the House, but knew he couldn't get the votes.
Now, Jim Jordan wants the power and ego boost of being Speaker of the House. However, he too does not have the votes. He's tried twice and the no votes grow. He persists. Jim Jordan is reported to be one of those that does not believe Biden won the presidential election.
This reminds me of the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Tis but a scratch.
The Republican House Majority can't even choose a Speaker. How is it we are to believe they can help run the country?
Is it because there constituency is made up of people like this (X, Twitter Link)?
"Woman says Space Force has been working secretly with Trump to expose the traitors. Says they watermarked all the ballots and have 500k indictments ready to go, Space Force is about to release the evidence and declare martial law and have tribunals."

Burchett was speaking on CNN
Burchett was speaking on CNN around 8 a.m. this morning.
He had that usual, good ole boy, buy me a beer, East TN accent on full.
Didn't ask him about ousting McCarthy and how that was working out.
Said McCarthy had 15 chances before he won. He supports Jordan going the full pull as well.
Hyuk hyuk hyuk
In response yo threats against those not supporting Jordan, he said this happens all the time. Not unique to the situation.
Hyuk hyuk hyuk
Asked how long this will take? He said get back with him in a couple of weeks.
Hyuk hyuk hyuk
Irresponsible
It was irresponsible to oust McCarthy w/o a plan (and the votes) to replace him.
The Republican Conference should list each of their names on the wall (except Santos, of course) and let the voting begin, with a pledge by all to support the final winner. Eliminate low vote(s) after each round. Anybody who won't agree to that should resign from the Conference.
