The Republican U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi appeared on Fox News this week, and marked Fentanyl Awareness Day with a curious claim. “In President Trump’s first 100 days, we’ve seized over 22 million fentanyl laced pills, saving over 119 million lives,” Bondi said.
According to the Census Bureau, the current population of the United States is over 341 million people. According to the attorney general, fentanyl laced pills were poised to kill roughly one in three Americans...
Whereas,
It was in July 2021 when the Arizona Republican Andy Biggs complained via social media, “Under Joe Biden, enough fentanyl to kill 238 million Americans was seized at the southern border last month. Where’s the outrage in the media?”
Even at the time, it was an odd criticism. The Biden administration was seizing drugs before they reached the United States. There was nothing to be “outraged” about.
So, when it happens under the Trump admin lives are saved, under the Biden admin there is death and outrage?!?!?!
