Food City and Walgreens have started using a lot of online coupons. I just have to wonder how much these online coupons get used.

We redeemed online coupons at both Food City and Walgreens recently. However, we did not have them setup before we went to the store. We had to stand around a while to login to the store websites, find the product with the coupon, and select the option to "clip" the coupon.

Luckily neither store requires an app to "clip" the coupons. I'm really sick of each business wanting the consumer to install a separate app. I liked it better when just using your store value/convenience/loyalty card gave you the lowest price.

It's disgusting. I'm no longer shopping at retailers that require a dedicated app, an online account, or digital coupons. I've complained to Target and Kroger, and have gotten responses that claim I can get the 'online discount' by asking for it at checkout or at the service desk.
