From his vote to establish payday lenders in TN to his masterminding of that MOU with the school system, I have disagreed with Tim Burchett about as often as I've agreed with him, but...in this regard, poor Mayor Burchett. I'm so sorry he has had to endure this.

Wishing Tim a happier matrimonial life going forward.

(P.S.--When I read in Betty's text that the decree had said "the wife shall be restored to her maiden name of Beaver," my assumption was that Tim had requested that, not that she had planned that of her own volition. Too bad he couldn't require it of her.)

I seem to recall she was the "News" Sentinel's star witness in their made up non-scandal about Mayor Burchett's campaign finances.

Burchett is still mayor and still popular, AB could go to jail or spend years on probation, and the KNS is an empty shell of its former self.

Wonder if the KNS is even aware of the irony? If nothing else, they should at least be embarrassed.

Pretty embarrassing to certain KNS brass who trusted her as the sole source for the story smearing her ex., I'd say.
And puzzling that the judge wouldn't allow the victim to read her impact statement.
