Ten states in serious trouble according to this AP release on Yahoo News of research for the Pew Center on States.
Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island and Wisconsin join California as those most at risk of fiscal calamity, according to the report by the Pew Center on the States.

To see how Tennessee compares in these areas go to the Pew Center on States site where it provides a table comparing all states to California's fiscal conditions. They use a scoring system whereas California is the worst at 30. Tennessee got a score of 15.
