What: Who Gets My Vote? Overcoming Racial Bias in Elections - Panel Discussion

Join us for a conversation about structural racism and implicit bias, and the role these problems play in elections and how we vote. This discussion will outline the nature of the challenges facing us all and spark a dialogue about moving forward with a fresh outlook.

We welcome the following speakers from University of Tennessee:

* “Structural Racism and Voting Rights” - Dr. Michelle Christian, Dr. Victor Ray, and Dr. Louise Seamster, Department of Sociology

* “The Role of Race Bias in Voting and Elections” - Dr. Michael Olson, Department of Psychology

This is a free event, and we welcome anyone interested in having a constructive dialogue.
